Meet RAYGUN
From the underground hip-hop scene of South Korea to his home city of Kuala Lumpur, RAYGUN is a Malaysian Chinese-Korean rapper and producer whose music places storytelling firmly at its centre.
With a decade of musical experience and more than 80 tracks released in Chinese and Korean, RAYGUN draws upon Boom Bap, Emo Rap, Drill and the narrative traditions of 1990s hip-hop. His signature laid-back delivery and unconventional off-beat flow define an approach that values lyrical substance as much as musical identity.
Having spent five years immersed in Korea's underground hip-hop community, RAYGUN studied under pioneering Korean rapper MC Meta. Alongside his work as a performing artist, he produces music under the alias K.Spirit.
Fluent in Chinese, Korean, English and Malay, he brings a distinctly multicultural perspective to his creative work.

2025 | Show Me the Money 12
RAYGUN passed the preliminary audition for South Korea's influential hip-hop competition Show Me the Money 12 (SMTM12), advancing to the in-person audition stage in Korea.
In His Own Words
For me, music has always been more than just a form of expression. I want my lyrics to reach people who are going through difficult moments, to make them feel understood and perhaps give them a little strength to keep going.
I have always been deeply inspired by the spirit of 90s hip-hop, the rawness, honesty, and importance placed on meaningful lyrics. I hope there will always be more musicians who genuinely care about their words and take the time to tell stories that come from somewhere real.
My biggest ambition is to become one of the most recognized storytellers in the world through music, not simply by being heard, but by creating stories that people can see themselves in.
I want someone to hear my music and think, "I've felt this too."
